Amazing homestay in rural area

We stayed at Wilai’s homestay for one night. It was amazing. She and her husband are very nice people and very welcoming. The place is cosy and quiet, surrounded by rice fields. Their garden and the house are beautiful and have a very relaxed atmosphere. Closeby are also several coffee shops and a very good bakery. If you’re looking for a quiet place on the outskirts of Chiang Mai, I would definitely recommend to stay overnight here!

Wilai is a fantastic tour guide! We couldn’t have asked for a better driver and more friendly guide. She was very accommodating of our needs and made excellent suggestions and navigations for our trip between Chiang Mai and Pai. We had three amazing days travelling and exploring and we would highly recommend Wilai as a tour guide and driver – She’s the best

Khun Wilai is an excellent guide. She’s very accommodating and helpful. Her communication are excellent. And she’s very knowledgeable. My 8 days trip would not have been more enjoyable without her. Strongly recommended.

Best Tour Ever

I can’t say enough about this tour. The guides were fabulous! They were very knowledgeable and shared their great passion for Thailand with us.

We did the evening Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep tour. The temple is beautiful. Watching the monk chant was an amazing experience. The tour was personalized in a way that any question we had was answered. Great care was taken to explain aspects of Buddhism and Chiang Mai cultures that we did not know. We learned so much from our guides that I wish we had enough time in Chiang Mai to do another tour with them. If you are researching your trip to Thailand and just can’t figure out if you need a guide or what guide to choose – stop searching. Book this tour! We were picked up promptly in our hotel lobby. No, we did not just hop into a car. The guides were waiting for us in the lobby and escorted us to the car. As we drove to the temple, great conversations were had about Chiang Mai. Once we arrived, we were dropped off right at the stairway. We chose to do the stairs, but you could choose to do the elevator. After climbing the stairs, you are guided around the temple. This company thinks of all the extras! Bottles of cold water, coke, and sprite were provided. Cold towels that smell amazing were offered before and after the tour. On our way back, the guides gave us advice on where to go while we are here and other things to know. We are so happy that we chose this tour! It was worth every penny…or baht. I only regret that we didn’t have any THB on us to tip the wonderful guides!

I flew from the US to Thailand with no plan. I contacted Wailai 2 days before arrival in Chaing Mai, since she was recommended by my Bangkok tour provider. At the time I didn’t know it was high season in Chaing Mai. Thankfully she was able to fit me in to a very tight schedule. She was my guide for 2 days. She drove me from destination to destination safely in her very nice, comfortable SUV, while making great conversation in clear, easy to understand English, my native language. I was so comfortable with her and her save driving that I fell asleep on a three hour drive to Chaing Rai. Having her as my private guide was amazing. She tailored the tours to what I wanted to see and provided information on what to do In Chaing Mai and how to navigate situations after our day together was over. Wailai encouraged me to try new things like getting up close to an elephant. I wanted to but was afraid. She was with me every step until I got comfortable. She also helped me find a laundry because I was on an extended stay in Thailand and needed to launder clothes. I was traveling solo. Even when she wasn’t with me, she periodically sent a text to check on me. Her level of excellent service is rare. Do yourself a favor and book her. It will be one of your best decisions for your trip, no doubt
