Overview:
Wat Prathat Doi Suthep (Suthep temple) is one of the most important Buddhist temples in the north of Thailand and therefore, deserving of its prominent location above Chiang Mai city. The temple has been here for 642 years.
Doi Suthep is also home to Hmong tribal villages with distinct culture and traditions.
Itinerary:
09.00: Pick up from hotel and drive to Doi Suthep Temple. Approximately 45 minutes drive
09.45: From Doi Suthep Temple, we will use local transportation (Pick up truck) and continue driving to Khun Chang Kian Village (White Hmong Tribe). Apprximately 40 minutes drive
10.30: Arrive at White Hmong Village and here, we will explore the village and see insight life of the people in the villge. Get in touch with the people, visit the elementary school and enjoy with the children
11.20: Take a coffee break in the village (Fresh coffee from farm)
12.00: Drive back to Doi Suthep Temple
12.40: Local lunch at Doi Suthep Temple (Khao Soi, Traditional Noodle Soup from Chiang Mai)
13.15: Visit Doi Suthep Temple and enjoy the history of the temple
14.30: After visiting Doi Suthep Temple, we will drive back to Chiang Mai
15.15: Drop off at Hotel or Chiang Mai Downtown
