Doi Inthanon is Thailand’s highest peak, rising to 2,565 meters above sea level. It is located only about 100km from Chiang Mai town. As part of a National Park, this area is covered with moist evergreen forest and pines. It offers a beautiful scenery, evergreen forests, and impressive waterfalls.
08:00: Pick up from hotel in Chiangmai and then travel south directly to National Park .
:Upon reaching Doi Inthanon Summit we will stop at Wachirathan Waterfall
: Continue driving to meeting point where we will meet our trekking guide and walk down hill , we will walk for about two hours along a majestic waterfall and the terrace rice fields. A local Karen guide will accompany us.
:Visit Karen hill tribe village for an insight into their still primitive lifestyle. At Karen village, we will spend some time in the village and learn about coffee cultivation. You can taste a delicious cup of Mae Klang Luang coffee,
12.30: Lunch at local restaurant in National Park
13.30: The next visit is the great twin royal stupas, which were built for the highness Majesties of the King and the Queen. The place provides a marvelous view of surrounding.
14.30: Whilst at the highest spot, we take a leisurely walk along Angka nature trail about 30 minutes to enjoy the rain forest and the ancient trees
15.00: On the way back, we will stop at Hmong market where products from the Royal Project are for sell. After visit the local market, we will drive back to Chiang Mai.
17.00: Drop off at your hotel
