Description

Doi Inthanon is Thailand’s highest peak, rising to 2,565 meters above sea level. It is located only about 100km from Chiang Mai town. As part of a National Park, this area is covered with moist evergreen forest and pines.

During 2 days of exploration, participants will visit the main attractions of this National Park and trek through valley and jungle. We will have the opportunity to meet with Karen hill-tribe people during an overnight stay with a local family. Hear or observe many bird species, bathe or refresh in waterfalls, visit the two impressive Pagodas near the summit, through this original 2 day program.

Itinerary

Day 1

  • Depart Chiang Mai at 9:30am and drive 30 minutes to a local market to see the local lifestyle of the peoples at the market.
  • After the Local market we will continue driving about 1.5 hours to Mae Klang water fall and we will take a short walk at the waterfall.
  • Short drive to Mae Klang Laung Karen Village and Lunch.
  • After lunch we will start for short trek about 2 hours for enjoy the Nature in the National Park.
  • After the trek we will be pick up by our car and drive to Karen village for stay here one night with Karen Family.
  • In the evening is free at leisure. While we prepare dinner, you can wonder around the village.
  • Meals: Lunch and Dinner

Day 2

  • Enjoy breakfast at hour homestay (Simple breakfast)
  • After breakfast we will drive to Kiew Mae Pan Trail for making a short trek about 2 hours.
  • Kew Mae Pan Trail” is a heaven on earth for many’ before making a trip back. Kew Mae Pan Trail is one of the most beautiful tourist attractions in Chiang mai. For many, Kew Mae Pan is an educative natural trail, which covers approximately three kilometers. The first stage of the trail is rainforest full of moss and ferns, competing with growing towards sunlight. After passing through the thickest of the forest, you will enter into a large field, which changes color from green in rainy season to beautiful golden brown in the dry season. Thick misty fog floating right on the surface. If you take a close look, you will see animal trails. When continue walking, you will see numerous numbers of big, beautiful ‘Thousand-year red roses’ along the cliff, they bloom in the first month of the year and last until March of every year. This particular type of rose is well known and is a highlight of ‘Kew Mae Pan Trail. After that, you will be led back to the forest again.
  • After Kiew Mae Pan we will visit the Twin Pagodas
  • Continue driving to the Highest Point of Thailand with 2565 meters high above sea level.
  • Visit Wachirathan waterfall.
  • Back to Chiang Mai and drop off at your hotel.
  • End of service
